My brother got extra tickets,some of his friends ended up not being able to get work off so in case anyone gets in a pinch and can't find tickets anywhere, I got connections.

i will be there all 3 days and a few other rpf'ers will be aswell (weaponX82,Hamsterstyle) i cant remember the others usernames haha ill be running a booth down in the gaming area and struting around look for Loki or Archangel!

Talaria Press is proud to present our Special Guest for Emerald City Comicon, Aaron Douglas! Join us at Emerald City to meet the man upon whom the character of Sgt. William “Striker” Douglas from Garth Reasby’s Children of Divinity series is based.
Best known for his role of Chief Galen Tyrol on the re-imagined Battlestar Galactica, Aaron has appeared in many movies and television shows over the course of his career, including Smallville and Stargate SG-1 on the small screen and X2: X-Men United in theaters.
In his new project, Hemlock Grove, Aaron plays Sheriff Sworn. Based on the novel of the same name, Hemlock Grove explores the events that unfold after a young girl is brutally murdered and found near the former Godfrey steel mill. As rumors mount, two of the suspects in her killing – Peter Rumancek, a 17-year-old Gypsy trailer trash kid rumored to be a werewolf, and Roman, the heir to the Godfrey estate – decide to find the killer themselves.
Hemlock Grove will premiere April 19th via Netflix’s streaming service which will make all 13 episodes of the first season available at once!
Aaron will be appearing at the Talaria Press table (E-15 in Artist’s Alley) at various times throughout the weekend!

This went up on the ECCC website a little bit ago:
Due to a schedule conflict, Chandler Riggs will no longer be able to appear at ECCC. In his stead, the amazing Michael Rooker has agreed to pop in last minute and appear at ECCC all weekend!
Additionally, Danai Gurira will be unable to appear on Friday, but will be appearing both on Saturday and Sunday!

Carrie fisher will not be attending also. She has had a "medical" condition.
If anyone wants to say "Hey!" I'll be helping out at the Lady Death booth all weekend long.

$70.00 for Carrie Fisher???????????????This is freakin outrageous! I have been to quite a few conventions and never paid anywhere near this amount. Sorry kids, wouldn't pay more than 30 for anyone.

Hehe,I'm there man! Is it going to go on in the kids section? I was going to go,just thought I'd feel funny being the only one there not for my kid but as a big kid myself.
My kid's gonna be getting spoiled by the grandparents all weekend (only 3,a little too young we thought to stand in lines all day) so I told him I'd bring back lots of pictures. He always says "R2 is a good little robot.".

Ditto. I've been dying to meet some RPFers in person and even find some that are from the Seattle area.
I've been unsuccessful.
My family & I will be wandering about off & on throughout the weekend.Hopefully, I'll actually get to meet some folks from the RPF in person...

Thanks, Firesprite, for passing along the Model Mayhem info. I'm heading down tomorrow with some of our Seattle Area Model Club members to set up the room. I think they had a Gundam themed model contest a few years back, but this is the first general sci-fi / fantasy / comic model show for the convention. We're up on the third floor, room 303, so come'on by and say Hi!

I'll make a point of trying to visit round' those parts, if possible. Maybe I'll wear a funny hat or something so folks will know who I am.
Truthfully, it would be a treat to meet other folks who frequent the RPF & share some of the same obsessions.
