Today we’re kicking it old skool!
For sale is a Vader ROTJ MoM / DV6 stunt hilt built with a vintage Graflex top & vintage cut down Graflex 4-cell bottom.
By using the cut-down 4-cell bottom you get the prop accurate no stamp hilt bottom without having to use a plate to cover up the Graflex stamping!
The reason I say this is an old skool hilt is because it was made using an Elvis Trooper parts kit; the original go-to parts kit for this build back in the day! It features all machined metal parts including the control box and front D-ring holder unlike the modern kit offered by Wannawanga which are made from resin.
The t-track grips are from Wannawanga along with the Kobold clip & D-rings. The only resin part of this build is the ball catch, which is also from Wannawanga.
The bolts are secured with nuts inside the shell so it’s got an impressive heft to it.
