Loving this helmet. When this helmet is offered I would much prefer the Han version myself. Never cared for the low brow version. Personal taste. So having the brow trim unlocked would be great...to appease both sides of the camp.

Yes, I always liked the Han version more than the low brow version as well.

Probably best to keep it the same as the original helmet it is coming from. And from the pics it looks like the original was a 'Han' style helmet.

VERY COOL! Those pics of the original disassembled on the eFX slideshow from SDCC are awesome!

I wish they'd hurry up and give us a Biker Scout though! (Hopefully we'll get that before they decide to do a Fett helmet which I'm sure will be coming too).

Personally, I'd like to see some "new" stuff before the re-released (albeit, more accurate versions) of helmets that we've already got.

Is the X-Wing helmet part of their "Legend" range?

Hi Chris!

No, the X-wing pilot helmets are NOT part of the Legend series since even though it has direct lineage to an original prop, it was SCANNED from an original helmet. In order to be part of the Legend series, it must be cast utilizing the original molds and/or prop. No scanning or 3D modeling.

Is this going to have the hand painted lines and the "wonkyness" of the originals or will it be "idealized" in anyway???

I assume no idealizing since it's made from a real hero but thought I would ask.

Yes it will basically be a duplicate of the original screen matched helmet it was molded from.

Here are some pics of the eFX Stormtrooper Hero seen on screen.
If anyone has the ability to make better screen caps of this helmet it would be awesome.

You can see this trooper in the scene where Leia is captured and being marched to Vader in the Tantive.
You can also see him in the scene where Luke, Leia, Han, and Chewie are in the Death Star and they turn a corner and run into two troopers.
This trooper is the one who says "It's them, blast them!"

For those who already have an eFX Vader on order, it is an absolute must to have this eFX Legend trooper to accompany it.
Check out the shot below of the two helmets as seen together in the exact same scene!
How cool is it that you can reunite them after over 30 years in your own personal collections!

Now that is pretty cool. I'm still holding out for a Legend Vader. I'm number 10 on the cancellation list. To have this as well would be great!

All but 2 of them were PCR's, which don't even belong in the same thread. The LE's were completely different and the Legend's are even more so.

You could make your same argument for the helmet SI-Man is selling and say enough already, but of course no one is because it has been cast from an original, just like this one is.

The SiMan is is the same league with this Legend eFX helmet. And since my favorite (and many others too) are the Stunts, SiMan beats this.
