Looks like they did a really good job of making the mold.

I don't expect them to make this available in kit form at all, but imagine if they did!
I would love to build one of these myself and not leave it to someone in a factory. Not saying they won't do a great job of it, just that i would rather build it.

EFX, please think about offering "model kit" versions. Charge a little less, but crank them out in no time and save a lot of money producing them.

I thought it would be that original hero that was used. Thats the one that has to be replicated first, but i still prefer the very low brow on a hero helmet, so it would be nice to see a replica of the promotional version also.

Anyway, well done EFX!

Tell me that tron helmet was cast in blue/clear and painted white... With lights! That was an idea I proposed in a thread a while back! it looks great.

All of the new stuff does! All hail eFx!

They said it couldn't be done, they said there weren't enough people interested in having truly accurate replicas....

I'm glad those people were way wrong!

Any hints at whats to come Gino. I'm getting very excited at the way EFX has taken this legend line. Also will a decent number of these be produced. I'd rather buy from a dealer over here because of shipping unless EFX can do something about shipping prices. Anyway wonderful and exciting stuff indeed. :love

I think I need to re-think my budget based on the legend edition line. Vader is already taken care of, but if there are other items in the pipeline I'm going to have to figure something else out. I'll see what I can do about getting in on this one and can't wait to see what is coming up next. :cool

I so want this. When will it be available. Hero has always been my favorite.

So exciting that a company is finally doing a Trooper Helmet the way they should be done. I've always wanted to get something to support EFX and now I can.

I also really like the McQuirre Trooper prototype and the Tie.

For those with the low brow worries. I think the placement of the capback is correct. As long as the rubber trim isn't plasti-welded to the plastic... you should be able to pull it down enough to reach the top of the eyes. My old GF has the same space and you can pull it down and make it look as though the cap back is pushed more forward without taking it apart. I would say that there wasn't as much variation in the Hero helmets assembly. The harder thicker plastic wouldnt allow for as random and wonky of a placement... I truly think Han's helmet and Lukes were built the same. Staring at every frame of ANH in HD for the last few years they really look the same other than the brow trim. I honestly think you will be able to get a more Luke/promo trooper look just by pulling the brow down a 1/4 inch or less... could be wrong.

Would love to see if Gino could attempt what I am suggesting...

If it is NOT possible... I think the Luke/promo with the lower brow IS what people think of when they think of a hero trooper helmet and what it SHOULD look like.

Very interested to hear Gino's thoughts on this.
