Btw do you know anything more about the release of the Obi Wan Xtreme then? Will it still have the sounds?

Any progress on the ANH Obi-Wan reveal saber?
We are continuing our development of this saber and we are designing based on what we are learning with the Luke Reveal. Since these sabers are significantly more complicated than the static sabers, we do not want to run into the same problems that we may run into with the Luke.
 
According to the eFX website, once they get it in you will be notified and you can pay it off in 2 more payments of 174.50 each. Of course you can also pay the balance all at once if you want to get it sooner.

This should come as no surprise. Their products are awesome. Just outstanding. I have four EFX helmets and they are perfect. But,...


Their customer service, communication, and website sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They offer little to know information about products. You may need to pay for an item in a few months or god knows when. And who knows when you ever may get it. How are those Luke X wing helmets?????

Their website has to be one of the worst ever. To get any real info you have to go sift through a "chat" EFX has with some online group if you can find it. Their website has very old and out off date information. The "in development" and "archives" sections are pitiful.

All in all a company that only gets away with this because the customers base is so dedicated.

Not to mention totally screwing customers by making key items so low in numbers the only people who get them are the ones with the best internet connections. 250 helmets. What a bunch of B.S.

Say what you want but nothing I just mentioned is untrue.

I agree with you about the website, but saying something is BS because the edition size was low is a bunch of BS in itself.

They can set any edition size they want too. They were making something that was and is considered very special and the more you make of something special, they less special it gets.

I am just tired of waiting without any updates... If I had come to the comicon, I would have stole their prototype and run away like Hussein Bolt !

I think that they should start the sales for the Obi wan revealed !!!
So that, we could have it for Christmas 2013 !

Not sure that's ever good business but what do I know. Thirty years ago if you had told me people would pay $5 for a cup of coffee I would have laughed. Now of course I love Starbucks.

BTW I have a R.M. Vader and I wish everyone who wanted one could have gotten one and not had to go to Ebay where many have ended up. Just saying.

And of course I await my Luke Reveal Saber I ordered despite my complaints.

For those of you who didn't receive this email, looks like more delays. The new ETA, though not specicifically stated, is November.

Dear David:

We have received an updated shipping schedule for our Luke Skywalker "Reveal" Lightsaber from*our manufacturing partner in Asia. They are now scheduled to ship the lightsaber from Asia at the end of October.

The machined*parts are still on schedule per our last update, but the electronics vendor is late in delivering the electronics for the blinking arrows and the glowing crystal. Since summer is "Christmas" for*manufacturing,*unfortunately, 1000 pieces was not on the top of the electronics vendor's "to do" list and as you know, electronics*are the primary components of many toys and consumer products. However, they will be delivered in the next few weeks or so and the*assembly can begin.

We have*received*and approved the final production sample including the electronics. We will be updating our website early next week, including a video of the working*blinking arrows and glowing crystal. Please always check our website for the latest updates. The information in this update can change at any time.

We will contact you when your lightsaber is in stock and ready to ship. At that time, you will be able to select to pay the balance in full or choose our lay-away plan. If you want to make any changes to your billing and/or shipping address, you can also do that by logging in to your account and make the revisions. For credit card changes, that will be done when you receive your notification that your lightsaber is in stock and the next payment is made.

If you know anyone who purchased this lightsaber from one of our authorized retailers, please feel free to pass this update on to them since we do not have the names or e-mail addresses for those who did not purchase directly from our website.
