I've got the Limited on order, but seeing these great pics makes me even more impatient for mine to ship. I hoping that date isn't too far off.

I've kept out of this as I missed the boat on getting one of the legend Vaders although I do own a few nice castings. I really don't see that what has been posted by the veterans of Vader discussions as self promoting or insulting to eFX? Without the Vader experts here we wouldn't know as much as we do about this prop as we do know now. if Gino wasn't involved with EFX we would see him joining in as he always used to.
I personally thought that the Legend was going to be more faithful to the untouched cast we were led to believe when it was first announced.


Whats wrong with people discussing a prop that hasn't lived up to some lucky buyers expectations. That's what we do here and have since I joined and sure did way before.
If you have one and love it then all good and well but if you don't there's nothing wrong with voicing your opinion. It's a free world.

Being objective is good isn't it?

I would still like one and would definitely strip it down and Repaint it to my own tastes. :love
 
I only wish efx would get the contract for the fx lightsabers as apposed to the lack of sabers being produced by hasbro.

That helmet is of such great quality they really do great stuff

As some of you may know, I got shafted in my deal to obtain one of these helmets. I was so looking forward to this piece that I even sold off my prized helmet as I had though that this one would be better. Seems that even my 20th C had more detail to it than what will be seen here. Feeling a bit let down while at the same time still admiring what has been produced. The dome alone would be worth the money right now as it is without a doubt better than 99% of the fan made ANH helmets.

I understand the why, as far as to why things were done. Just really wished things were left more alone, is all.
 
Stone, if you are interested in the Dome, I believe the Limited edition dome is identical to the Legend dome, and you can still pick up the Limited from certain retailers.
 
Having a fun time setting this up. In a nice genre mash-up I'm listening to my new copy of the 3CD soundtrack for Star Trek: The Motion Picture that arrived a few minutes ago too :)

Lol, yeah that's a stainless steel paper towel holder I bought at Target. I use them for all of my helmets. I keep my DP Deluxe helmet on that one but swapped them out momentarily for the photo-op.
 
Nice! I wish I could have got one. I would have it displayed next to my high end cast I have. Best of both worlds then. :cool

Could you possibly show it next to your 'other' helmet. You know the one in you avatar.
