The $350 goes towards the $999 in the form of a non-refundable down payment.

I hope eFX limits it to one per customer.

I see in their FAQ that they limit some new items to two per person on initial release days and attempts to circumvent that result in all orders being cancelled.

I think that limit is better than no limit,
though I would like it to be limited to "one per person, per day"
'cause I'm like that.

Has anybody purchased direct from EFX outside of the US such as Australia. I have purchased from secretcompass but looks like they will not be able to purchase the Legend edition and that’s the one i want. Just curious what postage would cost to Australia. I might try and ask on the Q&A with EFX on Rebelscum if i can.

250 IS NOT ENOUGH! It is gonna sell out with about 500 more people screwed! Oh well EFX passed up some big bucks for limited excitement. Hope I get one. Been saving have cash now and only 250 made. There will be 250 people just on the RPF to buy Legend version. The best prop ever made and they make it a frenzy to get one. Just do not understand??

I agree. It is good from the collectible point of view (will retain value over time), but maybe not as good from some collectors point of view (the ones missing it because others getting two etc.).

I secont both posts!!!

I'm guessing part of the limited run is because of each Legend edition helmet is individually hand painted and to technically reproduce each one as close a possible is a painstaking procedure as it is. Each helmet will need to have that correct brush stroke and correctly placed signature brush marks right? I'm guessing Gino is the one guy painting all these?, correct me if I'm wrong. I think to only have one or a very select few people painting these with the understanding of how it needs painting is the way to go. Hence the limited run.

Again, correct me if I'm wrong. It's just the way I see it.

I have a feeling that it is not Gino painting each helmet, but it would be so awesome if he was. I hope it is not the same people who painted the teeth on the MR Stormtrooper buckets.

The hand-painting aspect, while essential to this piece, worries me. There always seems to be a pretty wide valley between what the protos look like and what the finished product looks like. Gino's pics look stuuning, but will the folks in China produce the same results? They rarely seem to. I want one. I'll be poised to strike on the 20th. I just hope the folks painting these things deliver the goods. Finger crossed.

PLEASE just hoping the dome comes out exactly like those pictured 2 pages back because it does seem perfect now. Be also good to see if the C or L scar, brigde dent and teeth indents are left untouched for the Legend.........

Planning to call in late for work the 20th just so I can get one of these suckers:love Screw the boss:lol

The C-scar is clearly not part of the casting. Otherwise, it would have been painted accurately and in the right position.

I'm a bit worried about shipping by FedEx to Europe. I heard a $600 shipping quote on a Rebelscum topic. That is outrageous if true. You could almost get another helmet with that money.

Hey Guys,

This is awesome! Any1 ordered from eFX to Canada? As I read the posts, eFX seems to be using FedEx, right? Any idea of the shipping cost price?

I can tell you definitively beyond a shadow of a doubt that on the original screen used helmet, the curved scratch (what some call the c-scratch) is not an actual indented 'scratch' at all but rather topical gunmetal paint weathering.

Still carried over into casts from the molds made from the original. It's a clear paint flake, like is seen on trooper helmets... and those details are preserved when molding from the outside.

The fact that it isn't on the eFX... well... that's quite telling.
