I don't know if any of our overseas cousins ever got 'The Goodies' on TV.
Basically it was a very popular BBC comedy show from the late 70s/early 80s.
It was very much in the style of 'Monty Python'.
Anyway, I was watching some old shows on Youtube and came across this episode from 1980 with 'EB-GB' in it (check out from 2mins 50).

I'm no expert on R2 units, but to the untrained eye this looks pretty good. Obvious differences include the 2 big oval vents running horizontally instead of vertically, but considering this was 1980, it looks like a nice build (including some great mods.!).
I'm assuming it was build by the BBC special effects department, but do any members here know anything about it, or where it ended up?
