Early Millennium Falcon Pics

How much do you wanna spend?? :) - I have a part ID thread going for a 5' Footer and am considering casting up key sections of the Falcon as a starter kit. If you are serious, and wanted me to go the whole hog and make you one later this year, PM me.

Cheers
Nick

Holy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:cry:cry:cry:thumbsup(y)

I want:angry:angry:angry:angry

I just got Randy's 9ft Star Destroyer bridge kit. It's awesome to say the least. Please when you are done get together with him and turn this beauty into a kit.

This is the only thing I am missing in the Millenium Falcon Collection.

Must have:love

For me the hardest part would not be all the details. Those can be done slowly over time. Although a kit with everything would be sweet. But short of that what I need most is the base 5 foot falcon. Actually I think that is what everyone would like and that would not be that hard. Just a shell. Then parts kits can be added as people want or they can scratch their own.

Shell first

The Accessories like radar dish, guns, landing gear.

The detail side panels

Then top part detail sections and so on.

A five foot Falcon shell really would not be that hard and not have to cost a fortune.

I think a shell could be done in two halves and not actually cost that much.

I think a number of shells would sell for a few thousand simply because not many can afford that much.

But I think a boat load of shells would sell for $1,000 and not cost near that to make. A very nice profit could be made. Offer a dish for $100, Landing gear for $200 and so on.

Again this does not need a fancy base, I think most would want it stting on it's landing gear. It's not paying to some big license to Lucas.

I think someone could make a few for a lot. And just a rich few could get them and I think the rich have enough.

I think someone could make a boat load for less so lots can have one and make as much and probably more.

The shell can be just that. Each member could build their own interior, detailed with rooms or just a frame or just fill the dam thing with foam.

I think with the world the way it is it would be great if people could have say a years notice as well. This is something everyone who wants should have a chance to get and with a years notice everyone can save if they want one, pick up and extra shift, etc.

That's my thinking.

Cockpit cone is getting there. Still needs alot of work. I need to file down the rough edges, grind down and fill the front, and add the frames around the windows. Later today I'll add the lower armor plating.

Hold on to that thought. I kept my hull jigs incase I wanted to make a second falcon for my son when he gets older. I'm going to wait till I finish this one before I make copies of my casts(including my landing gears, antenna base, loading ramp, turret base, etc)

God Bless you and all your kin.

You could offer a falcon Menu

The main body/shell and then the person could pic out their accessories.

Holy#^HH@&*Y^&*!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Could a 5 ft Falcon kit really Happen:love:love:love:cry:cry:love:love:love

Did this and the base of it today. I just need the pods and add detail like t bars and armor, and the entire ships hull is completed.

Has anyone got plans for the styrene hull on this falcon. I'd like to make a start on the basic shell if possible.
Thanks...... Simon

Could the 32" plans be scaled up for it. If you had the basic measurements as pinpoints , you could go from there. This is a masterpiece , like the sandcrawler , that you could start and then build toward completing over several years.

edit: Here's the link for the 32" if it help you out Jedimaster:

The 32" falcon is flatter and proportions are off.

I suggest you buy essential parts and use them for measuring markers.

Does any one know the cockpit tunnel width? if know that you can easily find the the basic shape. I would be glad to bring it to vector program and get ruff guess

Anyone know what panther-type part is this from? The rivets are throwing me off.

Hi Whiskey,

I think that the basic rectangluar base part is the front of a Nichimo 1/35 Jadgtiger. The butt plate off this kit is used nearby. Will be covering these in my next batch of partmaps in my thread.

I don't know yet what the wheel part is on top though.

Just got my Tax refund, so Im gonna hit this hard this weekend. Woot!!

Ive been stuck on this one a while. Judging by the surrounding parts, it looks to be small like a 1/72 or 1/48.

Been up late last night casting more parts.
