Was actually hoping his own sci-fi film would be his next movie, but good to know he wrote the screenplay for this too.

Looks interesting. The period aspect appeals. It would be intriguing too to see a story that spends its first half in WW2 and its second in the Cold War. No idea if that's what Jones has planned but that could make for an interesting structure.
