Quick question? Is their room in the prop to add BlasterCore electronics and lights? Trying to talk myself into purchasing a kit but I must be able to modify it. Please advise.

As promised, for those of you that are modding their Joe & Shawn Lawgivers with EL-sheet or a LCD display, I have made a separate screen bezel for y'all. It's not 100% done yet, but when it is it will be available AT-COST (around $5-10 I reckon, depending on what material you choose) direct from my Shapeways shop. That way, you can gut out a fairly wide area for the screen and glue this in place over it.

I am waiting on measurements for the working LCD display currently being made. Once I have them I will tweak this to fit perfectly and everyone can order. (I'll also make one available in the original window-size if the LCD turns out to be a lot bigger, for those that want to preserve screen-accuracy.)

How awesome is that! Man this is cool should have gotten a rotocast as well. Or can the sold resin be modded doesn't hurt to ask right? PM sent also thanks.

Wish I had gotten the rotocast option so I could modify mine and add electronics like you guys are talking about. Maybe I should buy another, lmao. This thing is beyond beautiful though. Hope I don't mix it up with my duty gun, although it would make work more interesting. Great job guys.

just have to echo all that has been said got mine to day this is a work of art the best casting i have ever received.
cant wait to see what you come up with for adapting the display for the solid cast.

Orders are "ongoing" and there is not list with spots at present. Payment is due upon order. I don't know how long we'll take orders. We opened up again since Shawn had some extra time between projects but both he and I have a few things in the pipeline (Firefly's VERA, Oblivion Pistol... Robocop pistol, Earth Above and Beyond... and so on) so at some point soon this will be put on the back-burner. We're on (I believe) round THREE of molds so when these wear out making new ones is not going to be very feasible.

BTW- I am not getting notifications when people reply to threads at the moment, so if you have questions send me a PM!

I'm very tempted but I'm worried something that looks this good, will get seized by canada customs.

I think we've had a few got to Canada but I'm not sure. As I understand it, Canada prohibits immitations of real production firearms. The lawgiver is fictional, so does not apply...

Well, I checked and i can only find that we've sent two kits to Canada. One of them was confirmed delivered, the other was actually lost in the postal system after clearing customs. From what we have been told it wasn't seized but either stolen or lost. (I'm actually amazed that we've only had one package go missing out of all the ones we've sent out.) We've actually successfully sent more kits to the UK and they have pretty extreme laws on gun replicas of any kind.

For what it's worth, if you want to risk it, get a ROTOCAST version. The lighter weight and hollow nature will make it a lot less conspicuous if it gets x-rayed compared to a dense chunk of heavy resin! You could also have it sprayed a bright color for the extra fee (like the UK guys). Up to you. We're still accepting the odd order here and there.

Just received my kit here in the U.K. today,had it sprayed bright just in case,but it wasn't needed as customs didn't look in the box.
Pink paint comes off easy though! Real quick turnaround of 2 weeks,very nice castings can't wait to start painting.

Glad you like it! Yeah, we can take the odd order for these- just not dozens at once.

I DO have a bezel ready, but it's just the actual screen-frame I showed above. The electronics kit that is currently being developed will require a larger part being cut out of the kit. For that reason, I'm waiting on an actual test kitbefore I do more work on the bezel. even having dimensions I want to see the thing with my own eyes before I continue. But it's definitely still in the works.
