Dr. Horrible Props...Anyone?

I noticed someone making the Bad Horse letter, and talking about the Horrible Van Remote webpage to use on an iphone or touch. Has anyone made any costumes or other props? Didn't someone have a copy of the Alliance weapon from Firefly that was used (upside down) as Dr. Horribles weapon in the Sing-a-long Blog?

I'd love to get the goggles, but it's virtually impossible to find the correct style welding goggles - i.e. ones with six vents and semi-circular finger grips protruding from the flip-up eyepiece (and not triangular ones).

As far as I know, the correct kind of goggles are a old pair of Fibre Metal VG800-H5, no more in production (till 1998) and extremely hard to find...

This is my understanding as well. Websites which had pictures of the correct goggles were later discovered to have *outdated pictures*, rather than old stock of the goggles.

For industrial purposes, the modern goggles work just as well. For supervillainy, only moderately well.
