Right? Isn't the handle way too low? If you end up fixing that and moving it further up, please tell me how you did it. I'll even pay to ship it to you and have you fix mine...

Hello Gollivander since the factory welded the handle inside i think the new handle is going to be attatch to the new locking mechanism.
i will first figure this out and then let you guys know.
most irritating part is that my hook is not placed right they did not payed 100% attention at the factory but what can i say hey its pakistan

So, I took this picture of my Hook today, I thought it would be fun to remake the OST cover for it. It finally was sunny today, so I've put my Hook straight onto the sun, and was in awe to see the awesome reflections it was creating! Looooove <3
They are real!! I have manually configured my camera settings, otherwise they were not showing up on my pictures, so I made sure I could see the hook like I was seeing it in real life as they were visible by eye!

Ok now some negatives.
First: The angle of the hook is off by a fair amount, i dont think this is acceptable at all pure laziness on the factories part, they should be lining the hook up straight before welding it or spot weld to hold in place, check to see if its square then weld it.
Second: the handle inside the hook broke off during shipping, not a huge deal as i wouldnt be wearing this for cosplay etc.
Third: there are scratches all over but mose are not too bad, this one shown though is pretty deep, the only saving grace is that its on the back side when displayed but still very annoying. The base of the hook attachment also have marks on them but I might be able to buff them out with any luck.
Overall happy to have this in my collection but not ecstatic like I'd hoped to be.

To be honest, it seems that all of them have a tilted hook. Is there actually someone here who got a straight hook, that aligns perfectly? I'm pretty sure even sarednabs has one tilted, let me know if I'm wrong X)
Maybe the original hook was like this. It could have been a cast of one of the production hook that wasn't perfect. I personally won't display it from front anyway, as you cannot see the hook really well that way, I'm sure none of you will too haha
