I saw your progress in you tube and here, and i'm impressed!
I'm trying to make the Italian Version of your masterpiece!
Can you help me?
I'm using Pepakura Designer 3 but i noticed that not all the files are with numbers (you understood?) can u give me the files that you are using for the entire armor?
what's the right scale? I mean....i'm taking my measures and i'm trying to insert them in the program!

this is what you need to do.

You have " Show Edge ID" off. You need to turn it on again like this.

Are you starting over again? This mark 3? are u nuts? You can fix anything. You have a great! core start. just work around what you dont like. I've made plenty of mistakes with my build. I feel like you sometimes I have to admit. It's normal. My IM is far from what I would like it to be I wish you luck. Keep Building!....

Just a small update. I pepped the thighs
(I'll build the thigh add-ons later)

Shins are next.

Dancin_fool is a busy man and is currently working on the Captain America Video Game. Which is really cool.

So the shins haven't been completed on his model.

I'll have to make the most out of the shin files out there already.
If the scaling turns out to be a headache. I'll just try to build one from scratch.

oh i think Zabana's shin file is quite close to the hero armor, i have constructed it once. Fits me well. I'm 5'6". Hope that helps.

Oh btw the ab part looks amaaaazing! Thought you used pep on it :thumbsup

I'm going to build the guards inbetween out of cardboard.
a lot easier that way and faster.

as for Zabana's shin file. I had a shin file and didn't know the origin. It ended up being his shin file anyways and it's beautiful.

I'm gonna try that one out. Thanks for the heads up Quovadis

I finished pepping Zabana's Shin file.

This was a very time consuming part to pep
I think I need to adjust the faces and join more of them together if I ever build it again.
I had already printed it all out and figured. "ah well"

There were so many small strips.

As for the model, it's very nice.
I need to shorten the knee cap, as it's a little too long and cut out a section in the back to make it slimmer.

I can slide my foot and shin in and it fits and the hieght is perfect.
You'd think that's good but I actually want it slimmer.

Even if I have to reattatch the calf section of the shin. after getting my foot/shin through, making it a 2-piece shin.
It won't bother me. I just want it slimmer in proportion to the thigh.

(note - I'm not using those boots. It was just to hold the attatched parts up)

You'll notice the length of the knee cover is quite long.

you'll see in this pic, it needs to be slimmed out as it's quite bulky.
Will need to be modified a little before strengthening.

I did the same thing to the calf twice to get the proportion i wanted, IM is Slim an Streamline. Slimmer is better!.... Looks Good ! Keep Building!....

The nice weather is here, so the timing is pretty good and I'm inside my end of april deadline to have everything glassed.
