Does anyone here have a unobtainium enterprise?

I recently aquired one of them recently
and although the base makes sounds the
ship itself does not light up?

The shaft from the base that goes up into the ship and screw in
moves around the bottom of base but I can reset the shaft into
the base after tighening and realign it.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

The main hull is pulling apart and was surrounded by fishing line that
from age came apart.

The ship itself can easily be reglued.

This one has shatners autograph too.

This is a pic from the net but is the same model.
I understand this to be the one that Master Replicas got the liscence for.

It is approx 32" inches of beauty.

I bought one when they first came out, the non-lit basic one. But it literally self-destructed. The plastic reacted with the paint they used, it oozed oil, the paint sloughed off, the nacelles and saucer sagged.

These pics are from about 15 months after purchase.

Hi Tom, That's my model in the picture you're using. There's a fuse in the base which has probably blown so thje lights won't work.

I did get the lights on but sadly the ship is decaying and falling apart,
My friend removed all the lights, repaired the base.
I would love to get another ship that size and add these lights.

I think Polar Lights is doing a 1/350 KIT of the original series ship. I don't know how large the Unobtanium model is, but I think the PL kit is going to be about as big as the Refit kit they put out...which I'm getting soon:love

Hopefully they ain't gonna be as friggin hard to find as the last 1/350 ships were. Really would like then to make the Enterprise D in the same scale too.

The Ent D in a 1:350 would be unbelievably huge. :lol

I think you just mean somewhere around 33 inches
