I have a few seconds of free time lol but as promised. My last method I will post cuz after this you guys will not need another one. The most simple, foolproof method that will give ya shiny, durable that can flex.

Lets begin....

1. heatseal, just few passes if ya dont have heatgun just skip

2. 2-3 coats of pva, elmers or what I use modpodge

3. 2-3 of liquid electrical tape

4. before it was adhesion promoter but doesnt need it with this product. Its an elastometric coating.

2 -3 coats. It has adhesion promoter mixed in.

5. top coat any color but try to only put 2 coats 3 at the most. The less coats the more flexibility it will have.

6. the last step, this is also an elastometric coating

2-3 coats of This high gloss flexible clearcoat, stuff is awesome.

and thats it pretty simple huh? if ya follow steps you should have awesome results that flex. So if ya have questions I may not answer for awhile cuz swamped just refer back to here. I was working to find an easier way for everyone and this method is the easiest you'll get to achieve this and posted vids already. Good luck peps

Doc, Step four, is that just to promote adhesion and provide a primed surface? (as well as being flexible) Does the flexible surface primer do anything else?

Thanks for this new method!!! Amazing!

Re: Doc's foam work + The last foam painting method you will ever need.

Hey Doc, Can I ask where abouts you bought each of these sprays? Just so I can try and find comparable products in Australia. Like was it at a hardware store or autoshop or electronics shop etc?

idk if you have a store called advance auto or maybe homedepot in Australia. they have it but it has to be order online and shipped to your house.

Buy SEM Paints Color Coat - High Gloss Clear Aersol SEM13003 at Advance Auto Parts

Buy SEM Paints Flexible Primer Surfacer - Aerosol SEM39133 at Advance Auto Parts

Spray Liquid Tape in Black (6 oz./Can, 6 Cans/Master)-LTS-400 at The Home Depot

Re: Doc's foam work + The last foam painting method you will ever need.

Guys the method/ process Doc has shared is UNBELIEVABLE! I can attest to this as I am following the prep and paint process to the "T". Thanks so much Doc for taking the time to trouble shoot for all of us:thumbsup.
