Displaying a Batsuit (Cape added + shoulders)

Just bought a torso, cowl and have pieces to make the boots. All I need is a mannequin and cape. So I am trying to figure how to hang the torso to the mannequin without gluing or damaging.. so I thought about this

Re: Displaying a Batsuit?

The big trick would be to get the cowl stable, where you planing to wear the suit when your done? I put a crap ton of velco on all my stuff and that worked well.

Nah, I plan to keep it as a display..I don't make a very good Batman :lol

I'm also thinking of the Cowl wont stay installing a black PVC pipe with a tennis ball end for a cheap fix :p

Re: Displaying a Batsuit?

For cowls I used a bent coat hanger for the longest time. Worked perfectly. Couldn't see it inside either which I liked.

Re: Displaying a Batsuit?

Yep, a big skinny 'U' is exactly what I did. Then just bend the hook up and out of the way.

Re: Displaying a Batsuit (Cowl added)

Added boot mock up. I have the Air Trainers but I'm reading on how to make them boots

Re: Displaying a Batsuit (boots v.1 added)

Added some lighting and wondering where my cape is lol
I wanted to go for the lower lighting look of Batman 89
