Ok now it's time to start Prince Adam (or the beast in human form

I just started it tonight and already feel like I've gotten soooo much done!!! I'm using an out of print simplicity pattern this is actually an Uncle Sam pattern lol I've modified it slightly ( like the collar and added a lining for better quality. Also making real vest instead of mock one and no fake shirt either) other than that the suit is rather a perfect pattern. I'm got lining finished and shell. I'll need to decide what decoration if any I want to put on the jacket and do that before I attach them and I'm out lining the whole jacket with EL wire piping I really like it so far. Hope it continues to come together this quickly!

Ok so it's impossible to find this yellow gold color in trim and I want it to match Belle. For the collar I used white and the same gold sheer fabric from the bell dress. I kept trying to find a gold trim or ribbon but nothing matched. So for the other trim I took white grosgrain ribbon and wrapped the gold sheer fabric around it. I think it turned out nice


The EL wire for his jacket should be here soon and then I'll be able to finish it

Ok finished the vest and adjusted the shirt (it's same shirt from his "Hook" costume. Still waiting on EL wire so I can sew the liner in on the jacket

Ok so for the most part His costume is done. Just need to figure out what pants if I want to make them and what kind. And Boots... I need to Iron the whole thing. And possibly tack a few places around the collar. But I'm Very happy with it

So I've decided to make the pants. And i'm going to put a gold strip down the side like the Beast. However, I'm going to use a strip of EL Tape down the sides. I found some in white but I'm purchased Translucent Vinyl tape (comes in all kinds of colors) to try and use like a light Gel to make it more of the golden yellow EL wire I used in the jacket. Then I'll wrap the same sheer gold fabric around it and sew it down to the pants. I'm using a thick type of spandex. My though process was that the EL tape really give to bend or shouldn't So I'm hoping that the stretch of the fabric as he walks will prevent to much movement/bending of the tape.... We'll see if it works. basically i'm hoping the fabric will take any stress of the movement. I'm added matching pockets in the front of the pants with double welts that will hold an inverter and the battery. Again probably going a little over board.. But that's what makes this fun right?

Yeahhhhhhh!!! My colored adhesive vinyl tape came in so I'm ready to see the strips on the pants. I got EL Tape I got the white:

Then the el wire I used looks Orange when it's off and golden yellow when it's on so I got orange transparent vinyl tape to use like color gel for the light.

This is what it looked like on the light

I'm going to put the gold sheer fabric over it like I did for the piping so this is what it will look like:

Can't wait to see what it looks like after I sew it together!!!
