Disney wants more 'Star Wars' in its theme parks

Would it be weird if someone photoshopped force ghost versions of Carrie and Peter into this?

Did you guys watch the opening ceremony? They totally flubbed a touching moment when Harrison Ford gave a nod to Peter Mayhew.

If the park is entirely sequel trilogy based, why just have the OT big-hitters there?

I said that EXACT same thing when i first saw the story. Nearly word for word :)

We all know why, though, The OT guys made the franchise. Period. End of story. They were put in the sequels solely to sell tickets and they're being used for this release to sell tickets. The OT fans have the money right now, The PT fans are getting there. But, they focus the part on the new, but on release still feature the original crew who made it all possible to try and draw interest from the fans who have the money right now.

I guess this is what Galaxy's Edge is like when AP holders are no longer blacked out. So much for the haters saying that it's a flop. Btw, which park was this at anyway? Disneyland or Magic Kingdom?

Orlando:

In Disneyland, it's a 25 minute wait at this moment (3:33). The waits for Space Mountain and Matterhorn are 45 and 35, respectively. That's damn good wait times for Summer in the middle of the day. I was a passholder for 20 years. I'm telling you, at Disneyland anyway, they priced us out.

This is just the beginning of the dominoes falling for the staggered effect of people not renewing. It's not something I'm happy about. I love that place (Disneyland, not Galaxy's Edge).

Well, that is what they (Disney) supposedly wanted with each price increase for both regular admission and APs, they wanted to price people out in order to reduce crowding. While I can appreciate wanting to reduce crowding, I'm not sure that charging $4000 - $500 for a family for 1 day and 1 park is the way to go, esp. since I'm one of those families of 4 for whom that is a lot of money for a day's fun.
