Disney + | She-Hulk

Another great episode. I think what I like about She-Hulk, similar to Ms. Marvel and Spider-Man, is seeing more of the day-to-day of superheroes and seeing them as regular people with personal struggles and personal emotions.

Thor L&T was a good movie, but I really enjoyed the flashback scenes of Thor and Jane living daily life and having relationship issues just like the rest of us. It’s easy to think if I was Ironman or Captain America my life would be set and everyone would love me, but that isn’t reality. Being a superhero doesn’t mean I don’t still have to do laundry or wash dishes, or shop for clothes that I like. Superhero’s are people too. Seeing their struggles helps me identify with them and, in turn, root for them to win.

Carry on....

Hearing Jameela use an American accent is so weird and borderline disturbing to me. Lol
It threw my wife off too. It made her wonder what her "real voice" as she put it, sounds like. I told her that she normally speaks with a British accent because that's the way she was on Camp Creatacecous and there was no reason for her to have an accent in that role.

In the comics Jennifer always retained her intellect and had great emotional control while "Hulked Out," before her change became permanent. While she was more susceptible to getting angry, she was always way more rational and less rage based than The Hulk, so, they definitely captured that aspect of it really well.

In the comics, Jenn was also known to do some Fourth Wall breaking style humor, jokes, or references long before that became the crux of DeadPool's character. I had read a speculation that she will do the same in this series, which just makes me wonder if they do, how long before people try to claim she's ripping off DeadPool
You beat me too it..
I still have some of the og comics..here in the UK it was printed on cheap almost newspaper style paper front cover and all as was The Hulk.

So, is Mr. Immortal acting like Owen Wilson or vice versa?

Where is Vince Vaughn reciting rules?

Saw a bit of SHE-WOKE when someone was watching it and the Mr I character , well , no surprises there ! Yup , 2022 all the way !

I would have gone with "Disney Hates She-Hulk."

The first thing you have to do is realize the story shares some aspects of comic She-Hulk, but the main character is *NOT* She-Hulk. It is as if someone made a series called, " Strong Woman Attorney, Green," but divorced itself enough from the original She-Hulk comic material to avoid copyright infringement.

Does Disney's Jennifer appear morally and ethically strong enough to go after mobsters that would try to kill her?

Oh Hell no! She is afraid of her own shadow. Backs down at the drop of a hat on moral or ethical issues.

Strong Woman Attorney, Green

Is she a party animal? The same She-Hulk who got kicked out of West Coast Averages for inviting too many strangers to a party and creating a security risk?

Nope, she does seem to get wasted when her "I am Tired of Being a Doormat" meter reaches FULL, though.

One-night stands?...yes. Like in the comics? ...no

Because she wanted a one-night stand on the tv series, well...no. She is so desperate for a relationship that she gives herself away to any BS-artist that checks the right boxes.

Whether you prefer Ally McHulk or Strong Woman Attorney, Green, the point is that the show is more like a series of skits with a female attorney who *can* turn green and is very physically strong, while avoiding being enough like the actual, comic She-Hulk to dodge a copyright issue.

The Haters aren't those who actually read the comics, the Haters are the ones who watch with their brains turned off and ignore what *should be* a strong character for "duh, this made me laugh."

Seriously?!?!??!

Hey! Now that you are a famous superhero, why don't you walk down the aisle with an ugly dog like an obedient, Strong Woman Attorney, Green.

If you suddenly became a buzzing celebrity. You were contacted by an old friend to be at their wedding, but then kept getting degraded (you on ironing duty), especially since it is apparent, YOU were ONLY invited due to your new status; would you be spineless enough to do it? And before I hear, "the wedding isn't about you," crap. I agree it isn't, so don't put the person who could steal the show in a humiliating situation for all to see to lift yourself up.

Strong Woman Attorney, Green.

Yeah, it is a tv show. With people. Y'know, other humans. So, there should be *something* relatable even though it is about a superhero.

I'd love to see the writer get pressed to actually answer a question regarding, "why didn't you even consider consulting the vast amount of source material that was readily available?"
