Disney + | She-Hulk

I gotta agree with the internet, Madisynn is an awesome new character: She-Hulk Fans Are Loving Madisynn

I guess I'm an idiot because I thought she was the only thing even slightly funny so far in this whole series. And I had to sit there for a minute to try and decided if I even wanted to give this show any more of my time before I watched it. I don't know why the writers think that a U.S. court would allow a drunk person to testify though. I guess I should expect that from 12yo story writing levels though.

Because She-Hulk does not take place in our world.

In the Marvel Cinematic Universe (AKA 616), the planet Earth was attacked by Aliens from outer space. Actual real Magic exists. Spaceships from other galaxies travel through hyperspace from outside the Milky Way and land on Earth. A giant purple alien used a glove with rocks on it to instantly denigrate 1/2 of the people on Earth. There is an Ant-Man who can shrink and grow and a Spider-Man who can walk on walls. The Multiverse is real and Variants of people can be transported from their universe to this universe. Actual, real time travel is real through the Quantum Realm.

In She-Hulk, in a court of law, a female attorney can grow from a normal-sized human woman into an amazon-sized, super strong, indestructible Hulk and still perform as a competent lawyer.

To me, a tipsy witness in a court of law in the Marvel Cinematic Universe is the least weird thing those people have to deal with on a daily basis.

Doesn't seem like the worst thing, considering the stuff that actually happens in US courts. This is the came company that went to court to have their toys taxed less because they weren't humans, but mutants. At least Donald Thompson wasn't the presiding judge.

Me watching the last episode of She-Hulk

J

I, personally, want to see more Madissyn and Wong, those two were hilarious together. I think that a series of shorts based on the two doing things together both in the regular world and in Kamar Taj would be hilarious.

If she's not hanging with Wong in future MCU, I'll be bummed.

What movie were they watching in the end?

Hmmm, the latest Ally McHulk.

***SPOILERS***

I thought the episode was entertaining but (once again) not really She-Hulk.

I hope she stops catering to others and goes after what *she* wants. The one night stand who wanted her in Hulk form was sad. Not sad dumb, but genuinely sad. She can kill people if she claps her hands too hard, and she keeps surrendering to what others want and gets used. Not that she needs to be a totally selfish princess, but what did she think was going to happen? I hope she gets a spine regarding what she wants.

Why would a Sorcerer Supreme seek legal action? Show up, take the sling ring and be done with it. Since this world *HAS* experienced alien invasions and half the life snapped away, leaving a sling ring with a one-week, drop-out is BEGGING for problems. I could see how Wong was at wits end with this guy.

Her cgi makes me feel like she is an extra from Who Framed Roger Rabbit. How do they get The Hulk so spot on, but she looks like a step above Mammoth or Sharktopus from ScyFy channel. In the game Everquest 2 they had separate animations for men and women, yes, woman ran like girls, men ran like boys, but it was so cool to be able to tell a character's sex, be it troll or ogre or human or elf, just by watching them move. I feel like they are trying that with her, but it comes across distracting.

Madisynn reminds me of Pauli Shore, but it was nice to see Wong's human side, chillin. Yak milk talk n all.
