Disney buying Lucasfilm (new Star Wars movies on tap)

I thought I'd share this one I've just created in the wake of this news... :D

now i have to deal with everyone i know asking if i heard the news since they know i am a Star Wars fan.

Stock up on light sabers and costumes while you can before the C&Ds go flying. Now i wish i'd got all the stuff from Saberforge I wanted lol.
 
you know what just occured to me.... I'll never have to hear "They're his movies, he can do what he wants with them" from a SE apologist ever again!!!!!!!!!!
 
I wonder if they will break the SW films into multiple story lines like the Marvel universe...Follow one of the characters to a different part of the universe, and then every now and then have a big coming together pic...

I know it sounds nuts, but there's a TON of universe to explore...Just sayin'

Great! Spent a year on my Vader to gain entry into the 501st. Finally get my SL a few months ago and now I'll have to wear my suit at clandestine, underground meetings to avoid Disney lawyers.

Sent tied to the leg of a pigeon...

Not really, at least not costume wise since there's nothing that's really unique to Indy costumes, you just can't advertise and Indy jacket of fedora as Indy would be all. Props, however, as someone pointed out previously, would be a different matter entirely.

Hmmmm. The sellers of runs don't want to be stuck with a bunch of items they can't sell. Looks like OZ needs to discount and liquidate those plated idols... You know... So he don't get in trouble :)

I don't think they can do anything to you for owning/wearing a Vader suit, just selling. And as big as they are I don't think they'd like the bad press if they tried to get all heavy handed and crack down on the 501st, esp. given all of the charity work they do.
