Disguise Elite Avengers Costumes

photo (1).JPG

Here is my new Thor Elite Costume. It is worth the 150-200 range if you can find it for that price. I got mine for 189.00. It does have some faults with it so here is the list:

It needs more velcro. This is such an easy fix though and when you unpackage it you will see right away where you can add some. This will fix most of the problems. A couple of extra pieces on the check, better velcro on the gauntlets, etc.

It needs a better elastic band around the top of the boot cover, or you can add velcro to the inside and attach it to your boot. Either way it needs a little help.

I am 5'11" and weight 230 right now. It fits me great, snug, but great. I'm more of a stocky build. Not much flab on me.

The material is pretty cool. It is a little warm to wear but the pleather pants are a nice touch and the cape is amazing. The chest piece is made of a latex mold. The disks on it are hard plastic. The painting is not what you would expect from a 200 dollar costume, but it looks great in pictures and pretty decent up close. I may use a black wash on it before I call it completed.

Hope this helps anyone that has some questions about the costume. I can't wait to wear it some this halloween. Halloween is actually my birthday so I always do multiple costumes. One I throw and I usually go to others. I've created a Mark IV Iron man foam costume this year for my party. I'm almost finished with it and I'll be wearing this Thor costumes to everything else.

Hey Josh, post more pix of the Thor Elite costume. I'm really considering it for next year. Did you get the regular or plus size one?
I'm 6', 44" chest, 32" waist, athletic build and want to know if this will fit or be baggy?

Please post more pix...Thanks!
