Die Cast Lighted 1/350th TOS Enterprise (TOMY crowd funded)

Looks like these are getting on eBay nearly three times what we paid currently guys. The listings pics show exactly what the model looks like too.:)

Yes ..AND for everyone worried about the pictures people were putting on eBay.....a few have inserted the latest pictures with the seam and plug holes....and people are STILL paying 2 and 3 times the price. Maybe I will buy a couple more once Tomy puts them up on their site and sell them to the people who cancelled....;):D

Maybe so, but nobody's getting their ebay Enterprise until the sellers get theirs from TOMY!

The ship looks damn good! Man I am so excited to get this!

Yeah, not to begrudge those who want to get a good deal on those returned Enterprise models, If Tomy was smart they would sell those for $1701. I bet they wouldn't have any trouble and it would help them recoup any losses selling the model so cheap.

If TOMY does indeed sell the canceled orders on their site or to other third party sites I might consider picking a second one up depending on costs and my funds and space LOL.

This is looking like a excellent deal overall!

If the all the controversy is forgotten and people love their enterprises and prices on the secondary market skyrocket would TOMY move and create other 1/350 Star Trek ships? I hope they do...it's a big hope of course but I hope they reconsider and are open to the possibility of more 1/350 ships. : )

I am all too familiar with the cost of an enterprise build and 600 bucks shipped for a diecast model will always be a steal in my book.

I commissioned an artist to build this Kevin timeline JJprise for me with sound sync to the music/start up sequence and the works. Total cost was over 1200 for a plastic 1/500 scale. It's definitely amazing but something like this would be over 2k if the artist didn't give me a good deal as he wanted to build a jjprise enterprise anyways.

I might grab another one too depending on price. As for doing another Star Trek ship, technically they haven't said they wouldn't.:)

Very cool! He just got another subscriber.

They will probably have them at no less then retail price. Maybe even a bit higher.

I very much doubt they will do another. Especially not after the backlash they got. This will most likely be the first and last 1/350 metal Enterprise ever.

Or sell them at a loss when they file their Income tax ! Write off !

I doubt it. They know they can get way more for these. I'm sure they know how to use eBay...lol.....if people who cancelled think they are gonna rebuy cheaper they are gonna be disappointed. Lol

I wonder if the people that went off all half ****** and canceled their orders regret it now that they are selling for thousands on the secondary market? Not to mention that the thing looks AMAZING in all the recent photos and videos I’ve seen. I can imagine some of those people wishing they had thought it out a little better. I mean, a 1:350 scale FULLY LIGHTED enterprise with, blinking nav beacons, spinning nacelles with accurate strobing colours, touch sensors, detailed visible bridge and shuttle bay, 3 separate shuttle craft, and the entire Enterprise is made of 20lbs of METAL for just $600 INCLUDING SHIPPING?!? Fuggedaboutit!

I honestly can’t imagine canceling on a deal like that. That’s probably a once in a lifetime chance to own a replica like that at a price that low. And some people had it in the palms of their hands and then canceled the order because of a few little plug hole fillers that you can’t even see from 5 feet away? They thought they were teaching TOMY a lesson but just punished themselves out of $600-$1000 dollars of profit on the secondary market if they really didn’t like it once it arrived at their house. Just brutal.

LOL Perhaps people went a little overboard with their vitriol but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little disappointed. But I kept my order and I am so glad I did! : )

Yeah, but we might have to do a write in campaign to get them to do the Refit!
Oh yeah sign me up for that campaign!!!! I'm all for it!!! I do believe they still have the license to do ST stuff so why not??? They really should ask and if they have to charge more so be it. If it's 1500 or under I'm there!
