Die Cast Lighted 1/350th TOS Enterprise (TOMY crowd funded)

Well there is not too much more to say I think. Lol....we have covered it all...... from Anger all the way to acceptance..:p
One bit of trivia I’ll share is regarding the shuttlecraft. There will still be three but one is replacing an earlier named shuttle. The new one is 1701/6 (Einstein). What is interesting is that this was the shuttlecraft that was stolen by Matt Decker in The Doomsday Machine. What is further interesting is that in the original episode, they reused footage of the Galileo to save money and the name of the shuttle was never mentioned. When the remastered episode was made, they retconned the appearance and made it the Einstein, 1701/6. I’m quite happy with this, even though this relates to the remastered episode and not the untouched original version. What we don’t need is seeing the Galileo destroyed yet again. ;)

Yeah, seeing “little people” scaled next to the saucer reminds me of this…

Yeah, yeah, it’s the Kelvin-verse building the Enterprise on Earth nonsense but it was one of the best teasers I’ve ever seen.
I like this one better from Star Trek TMP.

I think from the get go they knew they were going to use that other support for the saucer. Here's a YouTube video from 2022 that shows two holes in the base, right about where that support is now located !

Yes, but we WERE told that was for displaying the saucer separately. They DIDN'T display it connected with both stands.
I'm keeping mine, but I'm defiately disappointed with some of the decisions made.

That's their story and they're sticking too it !

I'm glad Trevor is posting more videos!! They are awesome and the more I see it the more eager I am to get mine!!!

I was hoping that TOMY might tackle the Refit or shuttlecraft. I don't know, but maybe when people start getting theirs and there are more reviews coming out, which hopefully will be positive, public opinion will sway into the positive and more people will really appreciate what TOMY has done! And maybe that will encourage them to do more 1/350 Star Trek products. Because let's face it great affordable ST licensed replica ships and accessories are really hard to come by unless you're willing to pay thousands from companies like Factory Entertainment.

I'd love a refit Enterprise but I doubt they'll do it. Even if they do they probably won't do another ship at that price point. And that's what got me in on it in the first place.

If they ever decide to do a refit…I agree highly unlikely at this point, but you never know…the price will surely not be the same. I was shocked when they offered the TOS Enterprise at 600 which is pretty insane. But if the price for a refit could be done for 900-1200 I’d definitely be into buying. Even at 1500.

But it’s only a dream now. I can hope though.
