That didn’t take long and almost 3x the original price. Ambitious.
And there is no evidence in those beauty pics of any plugs either. Buyer’s gonna be surprised.

Does it say how long the batteries will last? Also how many it takes? It would be nice if it had a timer.. my fake candles last 6 months, they automatically come on the same time every day and you can set them for 2/4/6 or 8 hours.
Not sure what the expected battery life is, but the saucer takes 4 AAA batteries and the secondary hull takes 4 AA batteries, which are both included.

I’ll doubt they last all that long, as there’s quite a few light ups and they’re also required to move the motors if you decide to use that functionality.
I’ve only switch them on for those few minutes each time I’m looking at it, otherwise I leave it off. And like most LED functions there‘s a risk of burning them out if you leave them on 24/7.
Also l, I haven’t tried yet, but I assume it’s possible to change the batteries for the secondary hull while it’s still on its base, but not with the saucer as you’ll definitely need to separate it from the drive section and lift it off the base.
Yeah. I feel mostly the same. Maybe not thrilled but definitely still looking forward to receiving mine. My collectible vehicles are mostly toy-like with seams and screw holes visible and I still enjoy seeing them (the vehicles - not the seams) everyday. The stand was never an issue for me because I intend to suspend it (we’ll see how that goes lol - I’m expecting to have to secure the saucer joint). I may be in the minority especially on this forum but this thread has probably attracted a lot of non-modelers since it’s the most active on this vehicle.
Maybe there’s an opportunity here for someone with skills to design a DIY Tomy Enterprise plug hole touchup approach. Might rekindle the modeler still in me from when I was a kid building the old AMT Enterprise with my Dad.

Just as an FYI, I contacted TOMY CS via email and cancelled my order. They confirmed today and my card was refunded. I might not have done so, except the update they released with pictures convinced me that they’re not being transparent about this. All the pictures appeared to be lighted to show best case appearances and not taken to clearly show what we asked to see. For $600 I expected something more than the end result.

Oh, and for myself, I'm thrilled for when the credit shows up from my 2. I always questioned where I'd put it anyway, but I've always wanted a good V2 lightsaber without stenciling (idealized new or slightly weathered). I found out Roman finally offered a finished one, so ordered it.....and 2 others designs! Now those I know I won't be disappointed with when I get them.
Guys, if you cancelled, you might want to check your email. Despite getting a cancellation confirmation from Jennifer, I got an address confirmation request email from Tomy this morning, so their Iowa warehouse will know where to ship my model.
Oh, and they don't ship outside of the United States. Just so you're aware!!!

Yep, got my address confirmation email too. But I am keeping mine. I suspect those who cancelled in the last couple of days may not be off the shipping list yet. They probably weren't expecting so many returns, so its probably a manual process to correct.
Still makes me wonder how Australia resellers got their "address confirmation" emails over a week ago if they are in the same shipping batch as the rest of us, and we all seem to get them today -- not scattered over the past week. . Still something odd going on there behind the scenes.

Yes, I suspect that-- but why Australia? What if Pebbles and PhoenixBlazes hadn't been inclined to share? Or are they in it on it !?!?! ( no that isn't a serious accusation) If seems if you wanted an initial take you could just send one out - even a pre-production model - to an "influencer" - If I recall correctly Adam Savage ordered one, as did a number of you tubers. Tomy even gave an interview to one of them .
