Diamond Select Star Trek TOS Communicator Modification Project / Replacing Parts

The communicator is all back together. Just need to add the rhinestones.





The original style Swarovski Rhinestones are getting very hard to find but I managed to find a vendor that had the correct 16ss size with 8 facets.
The Crystal AB and Siam are the correct style flatbacks but the Olivine AB had a pointed back.





I want to keep all the lights working so I will have to do a little sanding on the back of these jewels anyway to make it happen.
So I did a little improvising with the pointed Olivine AB. I painstakingly and very carefully did a little filing and sanding.:cry


Here is what it looks like now.



Now I have all three jewels ready to be installed.

Need to find where my jewelers glue is hiding.:ninja
