I've always been curious to see what the small bone saw replica blade would look like on that handle. Ofcourse the handle would need to be cut at the end since the blade wouldn't be as long, and also the blade design would need to be changed on top
To be flat.

The bag had a white messermeister logo but it wasnt the patch, it was stiched so I just colored it yellow and darkened the blue line.

Really? There is a ton of variations of this bag. I've heard of some having green logos and Velcro closed flaps instead of zippers. **cough pinder cough**

Yessir! Got them all. Found the cleaver on ebay and it should be here next week. I just need to get the bone saws.

I will have to make a new version of the blade since the real small bone saw blades are curved at the top Unless i can get the top of the sub small bone saw handle to be bent into the right curve. Also the sub small bone saw the top part would need to be cut off at the end too since its a bit longer. Then the main difference would just be the handle being a little bit different than the original. I'm going to look into this

I know that the rachiotomy saw is no longer being made and is out of stock everywhere, but what about the other bone saw? I haven't been able to find an exact match. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thermo scientific sells it I believe. It's the ems bone saw.

Well I thought I would post my Dexter collection since I saw this huge thread already devoted to it. I noticed after a little while. lol That the knives in my kitchen were VERY close matches to a good # of the kill tools which set me off on finding more. I got one of Drews custom kill knives. Expecting a hook knive and getting a lumen knive so im trying to spend as less as possible. I found a Kniife roll for $40 its the blue stripe version but has the patch logo but given the more recent pics that have surfaced it looks like they might of switched to this version given its smootih inside like the new pics surfacing. I also have a S1-2 Acurate (anyway) blood box with all the slides current until Sgt. Dokes took the box and... A few other oddball finds like the lockpicks, evidence bag and flashback knives. in as well. There are a few things that dont belong in this roll as place holders. So I know its not acurate but where im at with this..

What do you guys think? Still need a few things but, getting there.

Looking real good! Glad you found the lockpick set. The Kill Tools are very expensive to put together but if you want to complete it with the actual knives, I suggest jumping on the Mundial cleaver on eBay. The cleavers are very rare so don't miss the opportunity. Link is in post 2052.

Me too man I was so relieved when I got the right cleaver in. I thought it would be wrong for some reason. I just need to get the large saw. I plan on using the Lumen Knife to replace that ever$#@%ing small bone saw.

if you look at that "coming soon" pic of the new kill tools doesn't that one kill knife handle look to be more like the lumen style but with the original blade tip?

Yeah I see that now. I didn't pay too much attention to it before. Looks like it is a Lumen/Kill Knife mix. Man I cant wait to see the new kit. I was really hoping for a reveal last night. Maybe its a serrated blade or something. Kind of a waste having the Kill Knife, Lumen Knife, and a Hybrid Knife.

i'd take one instead of the lumen one if it indeed is like that and replaces the old kill knife
this is still the normal kill knife, no hybrid. We'll have to wait till the next kill to most likely see a new knife.

I really like the normal Kill Knife the best and the lumen knife is probably my 2nd favorite on the show. I'm a little worried about this new Kill Kit though. Hopefully it doesn't get too fancy for Dexter. With him throwing his slides away (if they're really gone) it seems like his character is evolving so maybe his killing style will also? Would be cool to see him getting his new Kit together but I'm prepared for them showing the new kit with no explanation of it. We nerds love a good origin story.
