Looking at the Brian Bero link it looks like the new kit has the Messermeister flap on it too. Wonder if it'll be a full reveal or if each knife will only appear in certain situations, like the Hook knife and Lumen Knife.



I thought so too.

I'd be surprised if the new kill set was only made up of 5 brian bero custom knives, a few new bone saws and a pick. thats only 8 in total.

Looking at the picture above it looks like they kept the Cleaver and a Chef's Knife. The Messermeister shears look to be under the second O of SOON.

The hook knife was used again in the premire when he cut the plastic off Travis. I guess thats his plastic cutting knife. I wonder where he keeps it since theres no pocket for it.

That's what I see too Pinder. So only one 1 new Bero knife must be hidden that we can't see on the right. And I'm guessing 1 bone saw. And the pick will probably just go in any pocket.

I don't really like the new fillet knife. It looks too futuristic imo.

I love that hook knife though, that thing is cool as hell looking.

Rbeato, the hook knife is an abandoned project of mine, this is as far as I got on it, drew it and scaled it to the kill knife exactly.

NICK- please finish the CAD on that so we can get them made! Love that hook knife. Got to be my favorote knife Dexter has.

Sadly I don't have the time or skills necessary to get it to that point. If someone wanted to take on the project, I'd send them a larger version of that raster image (Minus the kill knife) or I could convert it to a vector to give them a head start, but that's about all I could realistically do.

Rbeato, what type of file extension would you prefer these to be in? Assuming I can actually get to them.

i believe .dxf files. The main thing after them being cut is (well after material costs, which for a few of us wouldn't be much) is basically just a small amount of smoothing the edges and getting some kind of edge on it.
How thick are the pieces on the kill knife? blade and each handle?

I agree DP. Hook knife is the best one he has.

I can do the new knives, but after the problem I had with the 2nd run of kill knives, they would have to all be paid for in advanced. I've done a little work on the hook knife, so I'll finish it up and get it to my machinist for a quote.

The kill knife aluminum handles are 3/16" thick each, and the blade is cut from 11 gauge, appx. 1/8"

damn that was the last place I knew of that had them and I checked every possible place i could find. Only other possibility might be one of those restaurant places that sells the 6 packs for a nice price.

Thanks RB. I called the topfood and the guy checked inventory and they were out. Getting sick of places saying its in stock online and having nothing. I managed to snag everything else though. I bought a 'for now' cleaver off ebay. Its a Future but the 6" light cleaver instead. I guess it'll work until (or if) the right one turns up.
