Dexter's Kill Bag and Tools

That was the same exact thing that happened to me months ago with the cleaver. soooo many places I would order it only to get an email a few days later "item is discontinued" one will turn up though eventually.

Did you ever get your kit done? What ever happened to the small bone saw replicas?
 
I still have blades and handles cut, but no milling work done as my friend who was going to do it moved to Indiana. With how busy i've been I haven't had a chance to talk to a local shop about doing the finishing touches. I'm mainly curious how the slit will be cut for the blade to go in it while at the same time not just fall right out.

I'm pretty sure that with the Mundial knives being discontinued now and some almost impossible to find that if someone was to sell them they would want a pretty penny.
 
Not sure if anyone else saw it, but there was I believe one of drews kill knives on eBay a few days ago. I notices how the edges of the stainless was smoothed out all around it like the butt of it is. It looked very very nice. Anyone know a good easy way to do this?
 
Does any1 know what knife it is Dexter uses that's super curved and has 4 holes in the handle? I think he started using it around season 3. If u do or wanna see a pic, please email me at sandpapertampon@yahoo.com. I would really appreciate any help on this. Please please please someone email me. And when I perfect my replica of dexters kill knife, I'll sell u one super cheap(pay for materials used Only). I close. I have a template and am experimenting w/ diff materials for the handle. I have an idea of what blank knife I'll buy to finish it too. Please email me and help me find out what kinda knife this is, and I'll help u w/ a custom Dexter Killknife prop when I finish
 
Hey guys I remember someone posting that they cleaned their Messermeister bag. Am I insane or did someone do this? If you remember please post what they used or how they cleaned it.

Nice Dp. Glad you got ahold of one. The cleaver is one of my favorite pieces. He is right everyone. If you ever want to get together a kill tools set you better score a cleaver now. This was a good find.
 
That eBay one was one from the second run. The blades were fully machined, where the first run were waterjet cut. There's not a really good way to polish the waterjet cut edges, you would probably have to sand into the grips a little as well in order to remove all the grooves.

I just came here to post about that, I got an email about it yesterday. I'm sure the ID itself is an actual scan of at least the front (and hopefully the back). The back if not a scan is probably just blank or the Showtime logo. If it's anything like the Batista hat they sell, it'll be horribly wrong. I don't see how it's really possible to eff up a scan of an ID though. For $12 it doesn't look all that bad really.

EDIT: Speaking of the ID, did anyone see the full page scan the MOB guys had in their club this week? It was huge haha. The art prop guy also changed the background of the driver licenses. Louis' license had a different background on it than the previous ones.
 
Hey everyone, I am just curious. How many people have a completed bag? (Minus the true Small Bone Saw of course).

I am putting together another one and I am down to just needing the Bone Saws. Even found a bag in almost mint on eBay for $41.00. Hopefully nextweek I can order the Large Saw.
