Dexter's Kill Bag and Tools

Amazon must have listed the 8 inch knives dimensions wrong. A quick print out of it as 17 inches, and well. It looks to damn big to me. Paper blade bent itself over the wacom tablet- so it looks off in that image.

I believe 14" is right. Just by looking at the Kill Bag (I have it in front of me) and the space left over. Still curious as to the overall length of the bread knife though.

That's true, I can't be too greedy. My problem is I am an OCD ass and need to have EVERYTHING right NOW.

I'm saying 14". Top to bottom the Kill Bag is 20". Measuring 14" out looks right with this picture.

Try measuring it like this Pitbull. I say 14" is perfect looking at the space left in the bag.

There does look to be an inch over the Chef's knife. Hard to say going by the spatula/knife. Who knows how it was cut?

I'm now going to say 6" handle with a 7" blade. Holding a tape 6" in your hand seems to match this look of the Prop Master holding it. 13" seems it to me now.

Amazon totally lied about the knives size. Theres a different 8 incher from Mundial listed at 13 inches.

I'm sticking with 13". 6" handle, 7" blade.

That's a pretty precise measurement. Did you scale off a picture?

Multiple pictures, then averaged the results. I could still be off due to perspective issues or lens distortion, but those are the numbers I've been working with.

here's the kill bag with knives

Here's my 13" total chefs knife with 8" blade in the bag and another knife replacing the kill knife measuring at 15" total.Remeber the curvature of the kill knife at the very tip will make it look a tad lower.

5" of empty space between the Kill Knife tip and the top of the bag seems too little. Looks to be about 6"-7" of empty space to me.

Scaling the above pic, the overall length of the Kill Bag is 2.25" top to bottom. There is a 1/2 between the tip of the Kill Knife and top of the bag. That would make it over 5" of empty space. If the Kill Knife was 15" it would be sticking up a little farther then 15" also out of the pocket.

i matched up the bread knife rivets to the kill knife handle.I'm pretty sure this is it has to be looks to right sitting in my kill bag
