Dexter Season Six (SPOILERS)

Tonight I really do think will be an insane season finale, an arc for the next season going to show up a lil, and some how dexter becoming known for what he is, says the people at showtime which is why there are two more seasons.
Seems like barely yesterday we were getting ready to watch the premiere of season 6. now its over and now have to wait another 9 months for season 7. But oh the things we will find, and come up with over the year, i can't wait. Bring on tonight!!!

Well, you called it.

So how does deb find out in the books.

As soon as I saw her open that door I knew we'd have to bleeping wait til 2012 to see the best part. #$%#$%^#%&

Cliffhangers to me equal unimaginative writing when the payoff is 9 months off.

"Oh God!" Exactly my reaction. I didn't think they'd actually go through with it. Now there's so many different directions the writers can go with it.

"I can't stay here much longer if you're gonna stink like that."

Those were my exact thoughts regarding the last few episodes of this season BUT, the last couple minutes redeemed season 6 for me....and made me a believer! :lol

called the m-99 not being m-99 and someone finding out for who Dexter truely is, honestly this is very very weird with Deb literally in love with Dexter and then just witnessed literally what he is??? DP they will pick up exactly where they left off, the next two seasons are about that exact moment. I honestly think since she loves him so much, she is going to be ok with him taking people out like that. But if it doesn't go that way, dexter has to seriously bounce out of that church asap before she calls it in, tool knives and all or the will have full knowledge of him being the "real bay harbor butcher" and it will all go back to a HUGE investigation and man hunt. But Dexter is a different serial killer after this season, can't say there was no change in him because there was.
I LOVED that part at the end...."I am a father, a son, a serial killer"
The episode wasn't a rush except for that roof top moment, but overall great episode and season....and Knew it would be Deb or Louis that was going to see him kill someone. ahhh...whats to happen now, not getting to hear a single word out of Deb makes it difficult to wait a year to find out what is said back to "oh god"

at least she can rest easy knowing Doomsday isnt still out there

the thing that drives me nuts its Dexter still hasnt seen his package

Wow, now THAT'S a way to end a season!
I predict that the intern is going to be next season's main bad guy.

.

Definitely Louis is going to be a huge part of possibly the next 2 seasons, who knows, all he did when Masuka was talking to him about him having to study more he just kept looking at dexter over and over. But so so so weird now how they have Deb IN LOVE with Dexter, not sure how in love with him she will be after seeing what she just saw, have to wait 9 months to find out now, but either way, its just wrong imo. I mean I know they are bio bro and sis, but still, ewww.

***Now we have the screen caps of the cargo pants he was wearing with the brown henley, check the Dexter costume thread to see if we can get them ID'd asap.
already got my brown henley on order

Just finished the episode. Loved the ending, but also hate that we have to wait so long to see the next scene.

In the books, Deb finds out about Dexter at the end of the first one, she wakes up on Brian's table much earlier.

risu i have the books but haven't read them, how does deb react in the book about Dex being a serial killer? Because the writers may lean a bit on their writing from the new book perhaps. He just better not get caught or killed. If louis is a killer, maybe he will start killing like Dexter and the cops will think its Dex? or Dex is after another serial killer who puts his life in peril several times until killing him off, and after being put through such peril he realizes after killing the final serial killer he realizes he is not going to do it anymore so he can actually have a life with Harrison. But who knows, Deb is in love with Dexter now, but after she just saw what she sees she may not go for it and go after him, but then again her heart is so big, she basically let him off in season 5 and was fine with that....just gotta wait now.

I've only read the first two so far. After the first book, she sort of ignores it. She knows, she just doesn't talk about it. I've heard from friends that it finally comes up in the third book, but I haven't gotten there yet.

I loved the ending of the finale, I got chills when I saw Debra outside the church and I really like how they are building up the Louis storyline rather then wrapping it up at the end of the season.

I am going to feel lost for a little while with no Breaking Bad, Walking Dead or Dexter.

i hear that great1, and what sucks is Breaking Bad won't be filmed in my home town this year, the govenor won't allow them to film in Albuquerque, or anywhere in New Mexico. But looking forward to Spartacus: Vengence coming up Jan 27th, I loved "Blood and Sand" and "Gods of the Arena" only sad thing is Andy Whittfield is dead (RIP) as he played Spartacus perfectly, not sure how this new guy will pan out.

also Deb might not go with her emotions towards Dexter, and actually listen to La Guerta to put her job first, but she does have the therapy session afterwards still saying how much she is in love with him.....that is still so weird that they did that.
