Dexter Season Six (SPOILERS)

I need to watch tonight's episode again, but I could swear that Dexter also saw Gellar when he and Travis were staking out the college professor's office.

Yea Dexter did not see him, Travis just said there he is, and he followed Travis. Travis basically did it all ahead of time while he was being "put up somewhere safe" by Dexter.
Good call on the Matthews case! That was one thing I did not expect since he's always been or seemed "honest" but clearly that black book Maria found in episode 1 of this season he clearly likes the whores. And for the ice truck hand, only way that will come to light is if Batista's sister see's it but probably wont know what it is, but something is off with him to a degree.

Travis deserved to be killed ever since he killed Omar Rivera to bad Dexter didn't know that or Travis would have been in the ocean by now.

I hadn't checked this thread in a while, totally blown away by the twist, didn't see it coming at all. Really liked that episode, and now I'm looking forward to the rest of the season even more.

Also, lots more of my campus used in this week's episode.

I'm wondering where they will go with this Ice truck killer hand. Is he simply just a morbid collector or will he turn out to be something much worse?
Maybe Batista's sister will discover the slide box and it will end up in his collection too...

Make you wonder if he knows Dexter is related to The Ice Truck Killer, hence his obsession with Dexter. (He is a computer wiz). Is he using Jamie to get closer to Dexter? Maybe he'll find Dexter's Box or Trunk full of Tools.

Could be true if they hold on to him throughout next season, if he remains dating Jamie and happens to find dexters slides and kill tools since he will be in his apartment a lot while Jamie is taking care of Harrison, or happens to follow dexter and see him kill someone, dexter WILL have to kill him, first rule of the code. and also in the new book thats what happens, someone see's Dexter kill someone, so somethin i bet will come from it. But clearly there is something waaaaay off with him.

what are now gone? im speaking of Dexters new trophy box and kill tools yet still in his apartment where Jamie takes care of Harrison. And if he does find out Dexters secret and should happen to see him kill someone, he will have to kill him no doubt to not get caught. If by chance the writers go a little off the new book like they did with the first book, then someone does see Dexter kill someone, which I haven't read but know that happens and he must go after him. But i really liked what Dexter said this last episode to Harry about Harrison and how he wants to be a good father to him. In the end, i feel his own son will be his light enough to end the dark passenger. But i feel that may only happen if Harrison some how becomes in peril in the upcoming seasons. who knows....

Finally caught this one last night. Fairly predictable re: the "big reveal." The "little reveal" also seemed somewhat predictable. I'm finding the main story of catching DDK to be a bit tedious this year, but I'm LOVING what they're doing with Deb. Dexter, eh, he's getting a little bit of development, but I bet he ends up treading water again at the end of this season. It'll be interesting if we get an explanation, though, as to how all the stuff with Head-Geller came to pass.

The thing with the hand was pretty weird, though. Not sure where that's going. Hope he isn't a wannabe Rudy.

Anyway, yeah, this show, aside from Deb, is now relegated to "cotton candy" status. Same writing problems as last season, with too much crap going on, weird pacing, etc. It's entertaining, but not in a long-lasting way. I enjoy it, but I don't really find myself caring as much about it as I used to. Hell, I'm more invested in How I Met Your Mother than Dexter anymore.

so the last 2 episodes of this season are to basically start the beginning of the end of Dexter in the last two seasons.....hmmm curious about this. Its gotta be Deb, shes a wreck, talking with this therapist about dexter and his brother, she might eventually catch on, and who knows what will truely happen with that. But they better not just end it stupidly like The Sopranos

Well I heard they hired the Wachowski Brother and Sister to write and direct the last episode which is supposed to be this disastrously epic battle between Dexter and his equal opposite in this crazy digital world and in the end there's this stupid rainbow and then it ends there. Kinda sounds like Matrix Revolutions to me....

I think Deb's therapist will have her realize theres something sorta off about ol' brother Dex.

Whatever plans are to come, I am REALLY enjoying this season and happy it is generally Dexter-centric with a lot less "fluff" side-stories taking up time.

Everyone says the sopranos ending is stupid. People don't get it. There is a whole thread dedicated to this. As for Dexter some serious stuff will go down. I can't wait to see what they do with Louis!

I was thinking the same thing after watching last week's episode. When Deb mentioned Brian "The Ice Truck Killer" Moser was Dexter's biological brother, the look on the therapist's face seemed to indicate...well, I was expecting her to say something to the effect of, "Sooo, Dexter is very closed off and secretive, and his brother was a serial killer. Don't you think maaaaaaaybe Dexter's not who you think he is?"
