You know what? That is a 100% legit question and I can understand the confusion.

Not so much confusion, but as dbalschi pointed out, ignoring many of the rules originally set forth.

I've seen where you have been going with the re-branding, and while I was initially meh about it, I've gradually come to like the new logo and icons. I really gained an affinity for them during the hacking incident and I thought several members came up with great designs that I would have purchased.

While I do like the design I can't help but notice that it doesn't fall into any of the rules you set forth in the contest.

Yes and no. The winning design definitely is NOT in the initial direction we were pushing for, as I mentioned earlier.

Superkrates design does include the official logo as well as therpf.com.

We said using "the RPF" as opposed to The Replica Prop Forum" was not a requirement and considering the treatment Superkrates went for, I think it is obvious that "the RPF" would not have worked.

If you want to say he broke a rule, then it is the gearing his artwork towards a single franchise. Point taken.

I am sorry you don't feel it is fair, but given the extenuating circumstances we have been through over the past few months, it has changed our perspective a bit and caused us to go with a design we might have otherwise not chosen. There are still quite a few other designs we still like and I think you will probably end up seeing a number of them used in future shirt runs if we can broker deals with the artists who created them.

I agree. There are a number of standout designs here and I think you will indeed have the opportunity to pick up a few of them.
