they aren't suspenders, as i just posted, they are connected to the vest. one thing we keep in mind when building, ease of removal in case of injury/ tight shooting schedule/ actor comfort. mind you, Manu did break dancing in that outfit the first day he wore it

I'm not looking to make the exact shin guards, I'd probably give up... Instead I'm just gonna make the general shape out of foam, but I can't seem to find any good pictures

I think the undersuit is some sort of rainsuit, made of something like a textile Polypropylene, which has a leatherish look to it. Not sure if it is motorcycle or running, or some type of BDU. Frog Toggs carry pants that look very similar, but I'm not sure what it will look like since I'm not seeing it all put together. At least as we see the Deathstroke 2.0 suit in the show. If anyone wants to ask a question to Manu at any Con's, that would be a great resource to us all. What is the undersuit?

i had a ticket too for summer glau unfortunatly couldn't make it in the shoot so i let a friend go instead
wish i could have gone i heard rumours she had canceled on saturday and friday i only heard she was back on sunday late afternoon so no signatures either ;(

she was there all day sat and sun signing all day and photos sessions it was just Friday she didn't do she was the third most popular guest 1000s of people wanted her autograph. I'd met several times before at firefly cons years ago so wanted auto for arrow she loved my suit

But yh I'm planning to dress up as deathstroke for the mcm in london , wondering what are those orange buckles everywhere , and anyone have an idea of the cloths underneath , I got most of the stuff from the previous posts thanks to you guys , this forum is awesome , anyone know when the podcast will be available?

I think the suit uses carabiners and parachute buckles. I assume that's what you mean by the orange buckles.

Cheers that what I meant lol. Besides that figuring out the cloths underneath is been tough, also anyone actually figure out what that blue armour is , I get it is laminated with some vinyl fibre fabric but what is

the armour exactly? mn I'm training for mcm london lol want to create an almost identical deathstroke costume with a hint of ma own individuality involved init

Most likely it's just EVA foam or something somewhat durable. I know that a lot of people used EVA foam and wrapped the carbon fiber or the vinyl knockoff around it I believe that's what Simonetheridge did.

Hey everybody, very helpful thread you have going here. I was just wondering if anyone who has the equestrian vest could tell me what type of material it is. In certain lighting it looks more canvas-y, but most scenes make me think it's a sort of slick material (The only thing I can think of to compare it to is a backpack or cheap drawstring bag... I believe I'm talking about nylon, right?). So can anybody who has one shed some light on this for me? Thanks in advance for whatever help you can provide!

A cotton twill could work plus it's cheaper and breathes better. That's what used when I made my punisher war zone vest.

What are you guys doing for the bullet rounds on the right shoulder?

I see from Mr. Dark's that he strapped some shotgun rounds onto his shoulder:


But Deathstroke looks like he's got rifle rounds up there in the stills I've seen:

I guess I could pull that apart and run it through some elastic sewn to some velcro or something to strap on the shoulder. Anyone else done that yet?
