Hello all!
Previously, I had started a clay sculpt for the Extremis Iron Man helmet over the summer. Due to HORRIBLE heat, and bad measurements and research, I scrapped it to make another based on Volpin's use of another's (forgetting the name) method.
So after that, I started working on a project based on a game I had enjoyed for awhile. THANKFULLY, my addiction has been cast aside, buy my interest in the artwork surrounding the World of WarCraft, will honestly never cease. So looked at quite a few of the armor designs, and thought: Hell, I can sculpt. Why not make one?!
Well, here it is so far. Proportions are not exactly 'to scale' of the model of the Tier 8 Death Knight helm, as well...the game itself has a wacked out proportion, one of the things I love. My attempt was to make it 'realistic' while sticking true to its origins.
I apologize for the bad quality of the photos as I have a rather cheap, though useful camera, plus, its 3am, and I took this on my drafting table, and not in my studio (POWERS OUT!!!).
[Edit]- Interest thread here.
