Did everyone get the laser cannons with their first shipment? I did not.
Deagostini Falcon. Anyone seen this?

Issue 1 comes with the platform for the cabin , backwall for the cabin , and quad laser cannon

Aaaaaaaand I'm officially on board.
I had dropped my BMF back at Walmart, cuz while I'm sure people are going to turn that into an amazing project, this is more up my alley. I'll just work off one 99.9 percent of the way there. heh.

There are some kinks to work out.
I got a second shipment of all 4 of the first issues today even though I only ordered one.
Still trying to figure out a way to pay for a second one so I can call them up and say I'll keep it but probably gonna have to call so I can return it.
Any start up is gonna have some kinks to work out.

Is there a way you can call up and say, "Give me everything ya got up to this point and charge me accordingly?"
BTW, I told the wife about this and she said, "Oh you mean like those model subscriptions we saw at the magazine kiosks in Paris? And its gonna be bigger than this one (the new BMF)......you should totally get it!"

The double shipments are a known issue with DeAgostini part works. Usually they seem to correct those mistakes pretty fast. But I have read complaints about how complicated it was to complete a long running magazine collection due to shipping prblems. With almost 100 issues I do expect some difficulties, of course. Maybe 5% or so.

Has anyone inquired with the Australian distributor lately? All of these cool builds are getting me excited 
bit annoyed they are releasing the Star Wars fact file again and oh the first issue comes with a millennium falcon blueprint... can't help but feel like it's a slap in the face to us Aussie fans haha. Bit annoying since the fact file has already finished here once before, its like they want to push the falcon back to launch with the movie, though I hope that's not the case ans I also hope they are not using the fact file to see if the Falcon is viable here.... anyway just have to wait and see what happens in the mean time I look forward to seeing all of your builds

As popular as this beauty is, I'm sure it will reach Ozzyland sooner or later. But I know what you're going thru. I first heard about this kit last year when they released it in UK. Kept my eyes and ears pinned to all the information. Was extremely jealous of all the English people that were able to get their hands on it and they had the audacity to post video reviews and builds as they received each issue. But there I was glued to every blog, news item and review that came down the pike. Then they said it was gonna come to the US and even said sometime in March. I knew then I had to get it. Then I heard that it was pushed back to April and my heart sank a bit but I knew then I was still gonna get it. When the news of it opening in the US I jumped on it and sat there and waited. I figured it was gonna take a few weeks, but only took about 8 days from order confirmation online to having it on my doorstep. Needless to say I'm bursting with joy. I've been telling all my friends about it, even brought the mags and blueprint to work with me to show off. So just be patient my friend. Like you, I've been there! It'll totally be worth it when it gets there I'm sure!

I'm sure that even DeAgostini didn't anticipate the popularity of this kit. I'm willing to bet they have probably gotten more orders of this kit in the first few weeks of it opening in the US then probably many of thier prior models. With that type of interest, I can pretty much say that you're probably gonna find they will release this kit all over the world, but because this is a new venture for them, gotta give them a bit of time to work out the logistics of it.
