You might need 1/6 scale parts to replace many of the cockpit parts if Hot Toys use that 6 month shelf life rubber they seem to love so much.

I think the rubber problem might be more of an environment issue of the collector. I have a ton of hot toys, including the much complained about Ed-209 and I (so far) have not seen any rubber problems. However I keep my models behind plastic and even temps.

The only issue I've seen was on CAPTAIN AMERICA's shield...paint flakes...everything else has been pretty good.
