Hey mau5y what type of fabric did you use on the mouth. It almost looks like some kind of mesh/fishnet material. Im working on my mau5head and Im going for the same look but with neon green.

Then i put the connector in the back of the head to make it "kinda" hidden lol
The eyes i spray painted 1 coat of flat black, then 1 cat of gloss black, and then 1 coat of clear coat

this is the second mau5 head i have made...the 3rd one i'm going for is the blue with black ears and yellow eyes....ENJOY!!!

Hey Mau5y i like your head and what you did with the black eyes!

I am working on my third mau5head and want your opinion on doing my whole mau5head glossy black like how the eyes.
How difficult would it be to sand the entire thing, spray it matt black, black then put a layer of gloss without messing up or having any imperfections?

My other option I am looking at is to prime the entire thing, spray a couple of coats of black spray paint then sanding it starting with 300 grit and working my way to 3000grit, then putting some car polish to finish it all off.

Also, anyone have any ideas how to make the mouth/visor glossy yet still able to see through? I have been doing a lot of research and cant find any good info on how to do this…

if ya guys want, you can check out my facebook of my orange mau5 head. i figured the visor thing. You need a section off of a same size globe and get perforated vinyl wrap and heat it up to go to the curve of the visor. it required 3 people to put it on but totally worth it lol. i'll put up my facebook to open to public
