Doesn't need it. I've seen at least two that -- while perhaps not screen-used -- were in fact production-made (made by the studio - one on display at Disneyland; the other at te El Capitan theater).
The replica does a fine job of capturing the studio look.
And don't get me wrong - some MR paint jobs are really lame (ie Jack's compass) but this one is fantastic!

Item has some heft to it - a nice solid feel.
The handles do work, and I'm fairly sure they are metal.
The second DMC (mid-sized one) is the Target CD player that has been talke up around here. My initial thought was to use it to fill this niche in my collection, but in comparing the two, the CD player really begins to pale...

How cool is that!
Been away for awhile but I did get this before I left..and it is very nice, picture do not do it justice. This is something you have to touch and see with your hands to see the "caked" rust. It is by far the one of the best mass produce products from MR.
The unpacking of this item was fun..very much the "unwrapping a gift" feeling.

Same here! I've reached the point where I feel the photo-chronicling of the unwrapping is geeky, but I did it on this one!
