ddc defender cast?

Howdy all,
I've been trying to find either an actual Margolin .22 MTs target pistol, or a resin cast so I can make a DDC Defender for my Leia AHN. Has anyone cast this recently? I'm not up to spending $400+ for the MR version

I picked one up at a local Con a few years ago, before the MR version.

It was a resin cast of a real gun with all the extra's to make the Leia version. I think I paid $35 for it fully assembled and painted- it looks great.

Try Wakel, I think it was one of his.

Odiwan72 was the guy that cast one of these pistols.

There are some casts off a screen used ROTJ Leia blaster out there too.

I've been seeing the MR ones sell for about $150 - $175 on eBay lately. Keep an eye out and you could get lucky.
