Yup! They're EVA foam so they easily take hot glue. We glued them to EVA and built up around them. The feet are super comfortable and super light.

Looking forward to seeing the finished project. I'm curious, those hands are huge in comparison, how do you plan on doing them? Might I suggest making something like this Mechanical Hand, just larger and skinning it.

Because I'm mostly a still photographer my partner designed a BIG articulated hand first so we have something that will look great in photos. We're also doing several weapon hands and eventually a mechanical hand but due to the tight time schedule it probably won't be done by Feb. 1. But all the hands are interchangeable so we can pull a hand off and replace it in about ten seconds.

The left hand, still in progress. The right hand will be regular sized so Joe can use it while wearing the costume. We're working on making him as asymmetrical as possible.

A bit over six feet. It would be bigger but both my partner and I are only 5'6".
