i havent rebuilt the biceps. it might be a bit too small, but im on a budget here, so it will do. probably gonna rebuild it sooner than later, but for now, mehHey EOS. Great progress on your build. I had the same bicep problem you were having. I have since moved on to the chest and back. Couldn't stomach the thought of building my 4th bicep. Did you trim the bottom or were you able to find a scale that worked? Any insight before I get back to the arms will b helpful.
Also where are you connecting Darkside's shoulder bells?
i see. did you try a smaller scale yet? and have you come up with a result?
I'm about to embark on this journey in the next couple days, and am so lost it hurts haha. I was wondering a few things. I'm 5"7 145 lbs, will the files fit my stature? Also what kind/how much card stock do you need. Also Is anyone on this from Vancouver/lower mainland? MSG me if you've made a suit. Thanks people
thanks das. ive got most the files now am just trying to figure out how to use the viewer and scale stuff and print it. youtube is not helping![]()
you can scale with viewer, you just can't save
That is pretty slick. Did you find a way to get the bottom of the flaps to align with the back when closed?
I'll update the video once the modifications and improvements are done. :thumbsup
Hey EOS (or anyone) Looks like there is are two pieces just above the chest plate the mate up to the two over the shoulder pieces that are part of the back piece. Was this a mod or part of the pep file that I am missing? I've seen similar in othe MKVII pics.
i made those myself, but also included them in my neck file about 2 pages back![]()
i actually built it in foam allready (well, almost) and what i can say is, if you cut the top layer in half height wise, youre good to go with a scale of 1.2Speaking of which...
I did scale it down to 1.3 from 1.46 and it fit better, but even then I had to remove the top and bottom layers. At that size the throat felt a little more snug, so it can't scale any lower for me. Also, you'd have to use some elastic to secure it together, otherwise you won't be able to move your head at all. It's pretty confining with paper, so I'd imagine foam would really be a challenge in terms of not being stuck looking straight ahead.
