mrbungle. sorry to hear about your dealings with that guy.. i hope you get your money back... i hate scammers... i would suggest contact guys here who make better replicas before venturing off to evilbay..:angry

That sucks in every way. I've sent payment as a gift before but only to people I know well. It's a bad situation but hopefully you letting people know will prevent it from happening to others.

It's weird how at a distance it doesn't look THAT horrible...

But man when you pick it up! :sick

That is seriously a P.O.S.

Hope you learned your lesson! Always ask around on here before buying something at random on Ebay.

I've learned my lesson... If it's a prop replica, and it's on Ebay, and the seller is NOT a member here... It IS a recast, a POS, or a scam!

Only in the last year or 2 has it gotten THAT bad. But they have always been there.

I'm still jealous of your name though! :) Hopeful for some new Faith No More! :)

Unless the seller explicity misrepresented the item, its not a scam.
There is a video from the "seller" dimmwitteddinobot on youtube showing off the gun and you can clearly see the craftmanship, paintjob, and defects of the peice in that video.

The OP video looks strikingly similar.
The broken canister bit looks solid in the "seller's" video which leads me to think that there was a shipping issue with that.

Lastly, if you really gifted the money through paypal and didnt go through ebay or paypal purchase tab then you really only have one last place to go to and thats the seller's local law enforcement and file a complaint of fraud, they will investigate and determine if you were defrauded.

This guy makes stuff out of popsicle sticks and glue and calls them props. I've seen his youtube videos before. Like I said before, The real sad part is that he does think his "creations" are good. He probably just finished a roll of toilet paper right now, looked at the cardboard tube and said to himself "Hey, I bet can make a gun out of this".

well , i did not think anyone was selling them. then i found out about wondersquid on here. but yes , lesson learned.

Oh man, that sucks big time. I'm seriously sorry to hear that. I hope you at least get a partial refund for that piece of junk, if not a full one.

The nerve of some people. $220 for that is a damn joke.

Sounds like misrepresentation to me. Resin without fiberglass isn't a fiberglass piece in my opinion. Live and learn. I've seen one of WS piece and it does look sweet!

IT might be splitting hairs with the fiberglass statements, the route of a fraud investigation might require specific verbage.

But no if this dude said fiberglass and he sold you resin covered paper, then its definitely scam.

Like I said before, contact the local authorities in his area and file a fraud complaint, you might get you money back and its only a phone call away.

FYI, your credit card company could give a rats ass if you marked it as a gift in PayPal.
Call them and open a dispute. ***** PayPal and ***** that scumbag seller.
