I agree with the CC resolution. Best way to get your funds back without any complaints from PayPal or the Seller! The Seller deceived you in the sale. It doesn't hurt to start a dispute through PP anyway because if he loses that is still a bad mark against him. I hope you slammed him in the Feedback!

Not negative to Pep more just more Pep props will be coming out and more people trying to pass off quality work FOR SALE when they have only been using Pep for a few months. Pep is great format to use for props so long as your finished product looks like "it fell off the screen and into my arms" quality!

It's people like this who really give vendors a bad name. I've had so many fantastic ebay experiences but the second a red flag comes up (either recast suspect or odd payment details) I move on.

Some sellers on ebay will bend over backwards for you and actually take pride in their work. Many don't though, research pays off in that regard.

If you did this outside of Ebay then report it...unless that would get you in trouble too. I'd still burn the thing if I was you....I doubt your going to sell it to someone else so why sit there and stare at it? It will just keep reminding you about how you got taken. Video tape it burning and move on...your money is gone and dwelling on it will just eat you inside like a cancer. I got taken for $2500 once so you got off cheap.

the biggest mistake i made was trusting the guy to sell me what he said it was. yes , it was my fault that i got in this situation. the deal was done outside of ebay. i should have asked for more pics and not send payment as a gift. also i should have done some research on this guy. everthing about the deal should have been a red flag. but sometimes life happens. lesson learned.

well, i contacted the melbourne ,fl PD today, and they saud file a complaint with my local PD first and they will follow up once contacted by my local PD. waiting for the officer now. atleast i can get cops at his door and have his parents wondering why there cops at thier house.
