Thank you, gentlemen.
So, let's go ahead without being afraid of failure.
Looks like I may have to make some pedestrians and the people in the shops and apartment rooms.
So, I started to make some sketches not to be bewildered at the moment of the actual build. - as always.
The last time I made some figures were just soldiers.
A simple single sketch of the soldier's outfit.
This time, a bunch of people belonging to the street of cyberpunk city. At least it may need 20 to 30 designs of their outfits. Policeman/woman, office worker, street punks, and gangs. Some classy people, a beautiful lady in hot clothes... etc., etc. Except for the people hanging around with shorts and t-shirts, jeans, and sweatshirts.
So, I've come up with an idea that I make 2D mannequins.
So that I only design and draw their outfits.
Followings are a bit boring to see but for myself, that is fun!
Rough sketch with a pencil.
Tracing the outline to a transparent sheet with an oil-based marker pen.
I used the clear sheet of an overhead projector.
Coloring on the backside with watercolor acrylic paint.
OK, 2D mannequins are ready.
Put another transparent sheet on the 2D mannequins and draw their outfit on it.
Coloring on the backside of the outfit sheet.
......and so on.
Thanks for looking,
