Customized BR Blasters

Been seeing a lot of BR blasters lately...

...On that note, here's a list of crazy ideas I came up with regarding customization of any extras you might have around:

Off-world models / versions:
  • Moon (dirty gray-white color? Perhaps a stylish camo pattern?)
  • Mars (reddish iron color / camo)
  • Venus? Slightly yellowed, stained, pitted, discolored, oxidized metal
  • Vacuum use? (deep space, no-atmosphere; maybe all flat black? Some subtle mods regarding the lack of an atmosphere?)
  • Competition model: different grip, adjustable sights, longer barrel with compensator.
  • Military model: flat black, or weathered camo color. Possible slight modifications / different markings. Lanyard ring, laser sight / flashlight rail? Silencer?
  • Cutaway version, with innards
  • Select-fire version
Different colors / materials:
  • Shiny, polished, chrome: perhaps a presentation piece?
  • Dull, dirty copper-brass color with gray or silver grips — a reversal of the standard color scheme
  • Crystal clear parts — as if made from an exotic synthetic ... sapphire? diamond?
  • Semi-translucent creamy white: made from high-grade industrial ceramics
Feel free to chip in with more ideas, or some fun Photoshop designs.

Would a firearm even work in vacuum? Without oxygen, gunpowder wouldn't ignite, would it? :confused

No more oxygen than there is inside of a sealed shell as is...It is an enclosed explosion

I am working on a "spy" version of the blaster with a Stechkin like detachable stock(uses the hole in the back of the pistol grip and the screw there as well)...A silencer barrel, scope(Steyr style) and longer clip. Made some preliminary sketches only so far.

Hi all.

About the gunpowder without oxygen...People often think that's a little explosion and the burning of the gunpowder which propel the bullet but in fact, it's more a chemical reaction from the powder by the cap. This reaction will work even without oxygen.....I think ...

Check this out:-

weapons in vacuum

Some other interesting answers too.

Only problem about firing a gun in the vaccum of space I would guess would be the equal and opposite rule where if you fire a bullet at a high velocity in one direction it'll push you in the opposite direction with the same force, just a thought. :p

Roughneckone :D

Can someone do a Photoshop pic with a BR blaster with one of those red dot pistol sights?I like to tackle a project like that and I'd like to have an idea of what it would look like? Thanks
