This is my first posting on the RPF. I just completed a DHPFX X-Wing helmet kit and custom paint job.

I went with a heavily weathered and battle worn look. I learned a lot and enjoyed the process. I have a second bucket on order.

I concur with starwrslover.

The kits are outstanding. I purchased two more, one I did as a Wedge inspired one and another custom for a friend of mine. Easy 9.5/10 for the kit. Highly recommended.

Agreed. I bought one and kept it the Luke scheme but made it much more weathered, using shots from the battle of Hoth. The helmet was nasty grimy.
