Custom Portal Gun

Hey guys, it's been a long while since i've posted something here. After battling an unsaid internet provider for almost 3 months, I finally have internet in my new apartment.
Anyways, I'm a big fan of the overall aesthetic feel of both of the Portal games. I love the large sleek look of the portal gun so much that I wanted to make one of my very own, but I saw that now you can pretty much buy one. So i decided to tackle a whole new concept of the gun and made my design more slim and added the overall feel of a shotgun.
I'm working on this girl during my lunch hours at the studio, so any additional updates may be a while. Kinda why i waited until now to show some pics so you could catch the overall concept.

This is great! That back end/handle area is really awesome looking.

Thanks guys. Tried to have some semblance of the turrets in the handle area. Might even add a red LED to the "eye" in that area.

Awesome design! It's wholly original yet feels like it's right off Aperture's shelves. Any idea about how you're gonna paint it?

FBA- definitely going to keep the classic black and white look to it. with a bit of weathering. Maybe throw in some black pinstripes around the barrel? We'll see

Big fan of Portal, and I have to say I totally love what you have done with the design!! Can't wait to see how this comes out! Anytime an original idea comes out like this, it's always exciting to see
