Hi guys, some time ago I finished my own custom made Highlander I Katana.
I skulpted the dragon tail and head over a cast from an very old Marto hilt, made resin casts of this and equiped it with a live blade. I was heavily inspired by Jose DeBragas fantastic work as you can see.
The tsuba and the screw are made from solid bronze. The sword can be taken apart for cleaning or repairs. How do you like it?
(Some pics were taken in the wip phase with the screw still missing and the tsuba not polished)

This looks awesome, great job! I was just checking out images of the actual prop and you really did do a good job of blending in your own style

Nice work and I love that you used a T-10 functional blade that can be removed. I made several using the pvc ko dragon hilts but I have a H1 hilt now and Im going to make a resin copy. I have tin cure silicone for the mold and smooth cast 300 resin but have not decided how to make the space for the tang.

Did you make the bronze tsuba? It looks great so let me know where I can order one.
